Acetobacter HiVegâ„¢ Agar w/ HiVegâ„¢ Extract No. 2 500G

Acetobacter HiVegâ„¢ Agar w/ HiVegâ„¢ Extract No. 2 is used for the maintenance of Acetobacter species utilizing mannitol. Tryptone, HL extract in the medium provides nitrogen, vitamins and minerals necessary to support bacterial growth. Glucose acts as energy source. Calcium carbonate acts as a buffer. Acetobacter HiVegâ„¢ Agar w/ HiVegâ„¢ Extract No. 2 is prepared by using vegetable peptones in place of animal based peptones which make the media free of BSE/TSE risks.
