DOBA Growth Medium with 2% Galactose and 1% Raffinose 500G

DOB Growth Medium with 2% Galactose and 1% Raffinose is used for the growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This media contains Yeast nitrogen base consisting of all the essential vitamins and inorganic salts which are required for the propagation of yeast cells but does not contain the amino acids. It also contains galactose and raffinose serving as the carbon source for the cells. Contains 1.5% agar as a solidifying agent. It can be used to prepare SDA
