Presporulation Growth Medium 500G

Presporulation Medium is used on strains of yeast cells that do not sporulate efficiently, such as those that carry mutations that cause the cells to grow slowly or ferment poorly. Presporulation medium stimulates the sporulation of diploid yeast cells which occurs only when cells are deprived of any carbon source. Cells are grown in this media before transferring it to sporulatiin media.
