Sellers Differential HiVegâ„¢ Agar is used for differentiation and identification of gram-negative non-fermentative bacilli especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus and Alcaligens faecalis. The medium is complex with differentiation ability based on oxidation of dextrose, fluorescence, production of nitrogen and pH changes. Sellers Differential HiVegâ„¢ Agar is prepared by using vegetable peptones in place of animal based peptones which make the media free of BSE/TSE risks.
