SF Broth 500G

SF (Streptococcus faecalis) Broth is a selective medium used for detection and differentiation of Enterococci from other cocci in diagnostic work. Dextrose is the fermentable carbohydrate. Bromo cresol purple is the pH indicator.Turbidity and a yellow colour of the medium indicatepositive reaction, while no change in the colour of the medium indicates negative reaction. Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium gives positive reaction.
