Tryptone Broth, HiVegâ„¢ (Tryptone Water, HiVegâ„¢) 500G

Tryptone Water, HiVegâ„¢ w/o Sodium Chloride is recommended for detection of Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio parahaemolyticus. It is recommended by BIS committee under the specifications IS:5887(Part V)-1976, Reaffirmed 2005. Vibrio parahaemolyticus grows luxuriantlly at high sodium concentration while Vibrio cholerae does not grows on the media. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
