Wesley Broth Base 500G

Wesley Broth Base is recommended as a selective enrichment medium for isolation of Campylobacter jejuni from poultry products as per APHA. This media is is formulated as described by Wesley and ecommended by APHA for selective enrichment of C. jejuni from poultry products. The medium contains tryptose and yeast extract, which provide nitrogenous nutrients, vitamin B complex and other growth nutrients to the organisms. Sodium pyruvate increases the oxygen tolerance of C. jejuni.
