WL Differential HiVegâ„¢ Agar 500G

WL Differential HiVegâ„¢ Agar is recommended for selective isolation and enumeration of bacteria encountered in breweries and industrial fermentations. Hiveg medium is used for the examination of materials encountered in brewing and for industrial fermentations containing mixed flora of yeast and bacteria. The medium can be used for enumeration of Baker's and distiller's yeast by adjusting its pH to 6.5. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
