Eugonic LT 100 Medium Base w/o Tween 80 500G

Eugonic LT 100 Medium Base w/o Tween 80 is recommended for cultivation of fastidious microorganisms like Haemophilus, Neisseria, Pasteurella, Brucella and Lactobacillus species. Lecithin and Polysorbate 80 added to this medium neutralizes antimicrobial agents hence it can be used as a neutralizing diluent. Organisms like Bordetella and Neisseria form larger colonies on Eugon Media as compared to Soyabean Casein DIgest Agar (Tryptone Soya Agar) as it contains large amount of sulfur and carbon sources.
