M-FC HiVegâ„¢ Agar Base, Modified is recommended for detection and enumeration of Klebsiella in water samples by using membrane filtration technique. It is formulated as per APHA for enumeration of Klebsiella. Modified by replacing lactose by inositol and adding Carbenicillin. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
