Middlebrook 7H11 Agar Base 500G

Middlebrook 7H11 Agar Base is recommended for isolation, cultivation and sensitivity testing of Mycobacteria. Addition of Middlebrook OADC Growth Supplement (FD018) makes media selective for the growth of Mycobacteria. Mycobacteria grows luxuriantlly on the media. Malachite green partially inhibits other bacteria. Samples should be carefully handled to avoid contamination.
