Modified Malt Extract Broth 500G

Malt extract Broth, Modified is recommended for the selective enrichment of yeasts and moulds. Chloramphenicol in the medium inhibits a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria which makes the medium selective for fungi. The low pH favors fungal growth and inhibits contaminating bacteria.
