Modified Pseudomonas Selective Agar w/ Cetrimide (Twin Pack) is used for detection and enumeration of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in water as recommended by BIS committee under the specifictions IS:13428-1998. Strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa are identified by their pigment i.e. pyocyanin production.
