Modified Rappaport Vassiliadis Medium for Water Testing 500G

Modified Rappaport Vassiliadis Medium for Water Testing is recommended for selective enrichment of Salmonella from water, food and environmental specimens. The composition and performance criteria are in accordance with ISO 19250:2010. Enriched culture from Buffered Peptone Water (M614/M1494I) is inoculated into this medium. At times Selenite medium can also be used for preenrichment and then plated onto selctive and differential agar medium such as Brilliant Green Agar (M016) or XLD (M031) agar.
