Sellers Differential Agar is used for differentiation and identification of gram-negative non-fermentative bacilli especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus and Alcaligens faecalis. The medium is complex with differentiation ability based on oxidation of dextrose, fluorescence, production of nitrogen and pH changes.
