Yeast extract and HiVegâ„¢ peptone provide nitrogenous compounds, vitamin B complex and other growth nutrients.The plates should be selected containing 30-300 colonies. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
