YEP Growth Agar 500G

YEP Growth Medium is used as a base for making variation with an alternate carbon sources, for the growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This media contains yeast extract and peptone, with the freedom to add any alternate carbon source. A shift in a carbon source results in massive reprogramming of gene expression. This media contains 1.5% agar as a solidifying agent.
